Conferences

It's still Tuesday for another 55 minutes. So, technically, I'm not posting late. Technically.

Each Monday I start thinking about what I have learned recently about writing so I can post it here. It's getting more difficult to answer that question each week because it seems that I'm spending less time writing each week.

I spend a great deal of time reading & responding to emails. I spend caboodle's of time blog- hopping & leaving comments. I spend about an hour each day writing for my two blogs. But "writing" - you know, creating manuscripts for the purpose of submitting them to agents or publishers - well, I am struggling to create blocks of time to do that.

And I'm not happy about that. But who has time to figure out a solution?

This week I'm doing some preliminary work for the next Write2Ignite! Conference. So, tonight as my contribution to the world of writers' blogs I've included some links to web pages or blogs that list the many writer's conferences throughout the year. If you're trying to plan when and how you'll invest your "continuing education" dollars as a writer I hope this list is helpful to you.

Until Friday, blessings, dear fellow-writers.
Jean

Thanks, Jean, for your comment on my blog.

I read your post about finding time to write. I know everyone is different, but I find that when I let myself become project oriented, I don't have any trouble.

Hope you find a system that works for you.

Thank you, Kristi! I need to give you a call & chat. :-)

Thank you, Max. I'm working on that "system."

Thank you, blue. Storybox, etc. looks very interesting. Do you take international subscriptions?

Blessings to you all.
